Ministry Of Finance Revises Authorized Banks For Customs Duty Collection

The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), through Notification No. 24/2025-Customs, has amended the earlier Notification No. 50/2017-Customs dated June 30, 2017.

The Central Government has revised the list of authorized banks for customs duty transactions. Two updated lists, List 34A and List 34B, will be effective from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

List 34A includes 13 private and public sector banks such as Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI. List 34B comprises Indian Overseas Bank and Union Bank of India.

These lists replace the earlier versions attached to serial number 359A of the Table in the 2017 notification.
